27.02.2007 :: There is nothing to write about today!

There is nothing to write about today! And I'm too lazy to do my homework, so I decided to let you do my homework! I need it for tomorrow 7.00 am (CH --> 6.00 pm).

English in Use

For question 1-13, read the following notes left by someone preparing an instruction leaflet on caring for cats. Use the information in the notes to complete the numbered gaps in the instruction leaflet which follows. Use no more than two words for each gap. The words you need do not occur in the notes. The exercise begins with an example (0).

NOTES

- Cats or kittens can be great BUT you need to look after them well.

- It's a serious business to have a cat or kitten so you do need to think about what it means e.g. cost of food and seeing the vet (vaccinations!) + making sure he will be looked after if you go away.

- To help your cat stay healthy you need to feed it properly - good cat foods are absolutely fine. Remember that dried cat food provides the right amount of all the important things your cat needs so this is what he should be eating most of the time. (Make sure your cat doesn't get fussy about what types of food he will and won't eat.) To get rid of fur balls, try giving him oily fish. And for a treat let him have an egg but REMEMBER eggs need to be cooked otherwise danger of poisoning.
