07.02.2007 :: Mooses...

Yesterday I went to the Moose (1 dollar night), this a kind of pub here in Honolulu.

It was not easy to get in, altough I'm 21 now, because of this illogical way (in my opinion...) of writing a date here in America. Nico (another student from ICC) was just behind me when I wanted to get into the pub and he told me that he thinks the bouncer doesn't know the style we write dates on the identity card in Switzerland (Day.Month.Year). So he will think that my birthday is on the second of may... Nico was right... the bouncer wasn't very smart and he had to check if I'm 21 or not in a big book (writing dates for dummies)...

The pub was nice and I had my first drink there since I'm here in Hawaii (sex on the beach)...  well, I had there also my second and my third drink Smile. But I went home early... I was tired...

Today we did a lot of speaking exercises in school and I really don't like them! It's so stupid just talking one minute about nothing. Today we had to give each other some keywords to talk about. And there is no time to think about what you want to say. You get the keyword and right after that the teacher says "you have to start now". And then it gets silent and you can hear the clock ticking....

Marlene gave me the fascinating keyword "chocolate".
Try to speak one minute just about chocolate. It's very hard. I was sitting there in my classroom and the voice in my head said to me that I have to start now and I was still thinking about what I can say and in this moment I realised, that everybody is looking at me and everybody was expecting something from me. I hate this "speaking-excersise-situation". I can't speak for just no reason - just bs with no sense. It's against my belief systemCool. Try it by yourself, it's hard... it's also hard in German...

My second keyword was "ridiculous". I tried to say something... Well, I should have spoken about how ridiculous this speaking exercise isSmile.

Regrettably it wasn't nice today. No sunshine and no reason to go to the beach... Frown. So I went home after school and I got very tired. I slept for about 2 hours. After this Eva and I decided to go to Ross store here in Honolulu. We heard, that there are a lot of very cheep clothes.

And it was amazing there, I bought a lot of clothes and I think it will not be the last time I go there... I recommend you go there if you come to America anytime (@JJ - try to rememberSmile)...
