Kona Airoprt (Big Island)
I was rather surprised about the airport on the Big Island --> It was an open-air airport. I have never seen this before
. In the airport we had to wait until Sandy (the leader) got our two big cars and then we began with our Big Island tour...
UCC Coffee Factory
First we visited a Coffee Factory. We could try the coffee... (nice for those who like coffee...). But there was also something for me: The famous "Banana Bread" - my insider tip for all Hawai'i visitors. It's not bread, it's cake, but bread just sounds healthier

Pu'uhonua O Honaunau (Place of Refuge)
We bought some food somewhere in a foodland for the day and we stayed nearly the whole afternoon in the place in the picture. We could snorkel there...
Kailua-Kona Town
In the evening we checked in at our hotel and went to the Kailua-Kona Town to eat dinner. It was a pretty funny evening. We ate at the Lulu's (unfortunatly we missed the Karaoke evening...).
I had a Hawaiian Burger and a Mai Tai - wunderfull combination

Manago Hotel
This was our room. We were 4 together in one room. It was nice for one night... We were tired...
